Who's your confirmation saint?

I chose St. Francis because he gave everything he had to serve God and help the poor. An inspiration for us all in this materialistic world we live in today.
 
I chose St. Clare for similar anti-materialism reasons but also because of her strong voice as a female in a very male world.
 
I was originally baptized as a Christian (and joined the Methodist church) on the Feast of the Annunciation in 1956, when I was eight years old. That made the Blessed Virgin Mary my baptismal saint, although I didn’t realize that until I was preparing to enter communion with the Catholic Church. When I was confirmed in the Catholic Church at Easter in 2007, I chose St. Juan Diego as my confirmation saint, since Our Lady of Guadalupe had chosen him as her witness when she appeared in Mexico in 1531.

St. Hubertus. Patron Saint of hunters and forest workers. I love the forest, and I’d love to try hunting sometime. 👍
 
Hmm…where I am from it would appear we are given middle names named after a saint, and that saint would be the confirmation saint.
 
St Joan of Arc: I chose her because when I learned about her, she reminded me of Christ carrying the Cross. She died for her people. As I look back, I can say she is a reminder, as all Saints are, of the different crosses that we may have and a reminder to us to our one goal in life and that is to live and give all to God in thanksgiving for making us His children.

I do have a love for my Baptismal Saint, St Philomena. I give everyone to her. I will give you to St Philomena as you continue your journey. She will give you and your family to St Joseph then St Joseph to the Mother of God. You are in good hands.
 
My parents chose Peter as my Confirmational patron - after the head of the Church- St. Peter. They also gave me Joseph as my Baptismal name, thus good St. Joseph is my Baptismal patron Saint - the head of the Holy Family.
So I received both the head of the Church and the head of the Holy Family as my patrons . . .hmmm . . . maybe it’s true what they say after all : that two heads are better than one.

I became obsessed with my little children’s book of her life when I was a child and I just knew she was going to be my confirmation saint when the time came. I don’t even know what drew me to her as a child, but considering I’m drawn to Dominican spirituality and also developed arthritis young, it seems she chose me instead. 😊
 
St Faustina because I was drawn to the Divine Mercy message and loved her diary. I felt really close to her after reading it.
 
St. Boniface, Bishop and Martyr. Feast day June 5. Left a comfortable life to be a missionary in his 40s and evangelized Germany in the early 800s. Faced a lot of difficulty and prevailed through working with others.

Oh, no. no. Sorry, I can’t let you do that. My patron saint is Saint Francis, you see. No hunting in my forest. :policeman:
