Hard question…
St. Maximilian, st. Faustina, st. Pio, st. Edith Stein, st. Mariam of Bethlehem, st. Mother Theresa

Sorry I really cannot pick just one, list would be even longer if I would have to add fav blessed/venerable…

We are going to get a second saint soon hopefully, another Mary. She came from country Victoria, became a doctor and moved to India.

So many good choices have already been mentioned. Pope St. John XXIII is very high on my list. He was pope when I was born, and so his influence and legacy has affected my entire life. I very much like what I’ve read about his personality, and I agree with his vision for the Church, moving forward and engaging with the wider world with an emphasis on respect and not exclusivity. His feast day is coming up too, October 11.

Padre Pio, Pope John Paul II, Mother Teresa, and St. Paul VI are some of mine 😍

Far too many… I can’t narrow it down.

I live in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia so we have to Post Vatican II Saints from our Archdiocese:
  • St. John Neumann
  • St. Katharine Drexel
Plus, St. Zelie Martin & St. Louis Martin (the parents of St. Thérèse of Lisieux) have a special place in my heart too. I fell in love with them reading Dorothy Day’s book about St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Plus, here in Philadelphia the Carmel Monastery is home to relics of all three Martin Saints, plus we have a Catholic high school down the road from my house, named after both Sts. Zelie & Louis Martin.

Not to mention, growing up Catholic during the 70s, 80s & early 90s; I have a great love for St. Mother Teresa & St. John Paul II.

Finally, St. Faustina, St. Padre Pio, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Edith Stein, & St. Elizabeth Ann Seton all have importance to me too.

So, it’s just not possible for me to narrow this down to just one Post Vatican II Saint. 😇
