So, in the spirit of “who’s your favourite Peanuts character”…

Who’s your favourite Muppet?

I generally like Kermit…he’s sort of Everyman, the Only Sane One, sort of like Bugs Bunny of Loony Tunes. But of the others:

Fave Muppet Show character: Gonzo the Great! That fellow treats each failure like a resounding success.

Fave Sesame Street character: Your old pal Grover. I think he’s rather adorkable.

BTW, I cannot **stand **Elmo.

Statler and Waldorf (they *need *to be mentioned as a set)

Second is Sam the Eagle. Third is either Beeker, Swedish Chef, or Fozzie depending on my mood.

As far as Sesame Street goes…Cookie Monster. I’ve loved Cookie Monster for as long as I remember.
 
I’ve always been partial to Grover…long live Supet Grover!😃
 
My favorite Sesame Street muppet is Oscar the Grouch.

My favorite muppet…I don’t know. I guess I would say King Prawn.
 
There’s something about Beaker’s voice that cracks me up every time!

Did you know he made an appearance on Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show long before the Muppet Show ever was on the air?

I did one of those on-line quizzes to see which Muppet I am, and the result was Bean Bunny! I’m glad I’m so adorable!
 
I love the Swedish Chef and “American Idol” would be SO much better with Statler and Waldorf as the judges!

Sesame Street… hmm, it’s been a while. My sister and I remind me of Ernie and Bert (I’m Bert!) and I like Mr. Snuffleupagus!
 
Another vote for the Swedish Chef - followed closely by poor Beaker.
 
I used to have a little Ernie doll so I still have a soft spot for him and his love of rubber duckies 🙂

I also love Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster, and yes, Miss Piggy too - what’s not to love about someone who can look so glamorous but still kick butt when she needs to? 😛

Grover/Super Grover. I loved him so much! He was so cute & funny.
 
Pepe the prawn and Ratso are two fo the more wily characters.Both Bobo the bear and Beaker resonate with me.I’ve though at times had I stayed in the community college biotech program I’d live the rest of me days not unlike Beaker :D.
