Why are clerics so frightened of the old Mass?

The majority of Novus Ordo Bishops view the TLM the way that football coaches veiw the drop kick… it’s still legal, but the don’t want to call the play…😃

As a simple minded Englishman… I dont undertsand the analogy!! 🙂

LOL, sorry Nick, in the American version of football, there is a play called the “drop kick” that is no longer used for various reasons.
 
Well I grew up with the Latin Mass, and I loved it, and I don’t like what they call the Mass now. They threw out the beautiful and sacred traditional Mass for this. Sometimes I can’t even tell if I’m in a Roman Catholic Church.

Why is someone who is attached to the TLM considered a schismatic, they were taught to hold that liturgy sacred, now it is not.

Well I wonder how my children or grandchildren would like it if I told them they were not part of my family if they chose to keep traditions and customs I taught them??? To bad so sad.

I wonder if it is protestant? I don’t like it not one little bit. It is ugly to me. The only reason I go to it is because I still believe that when the priest consecrates the host it becomes the body and blood of Jesus.
