Why aren’t Eastern Orthodox posters allowed to try and convert people here?

Is this a rule JUST for EO’s or for all non-Catholics?

I’m not trying to open a can of worms, but it seems intellectually dishonest not to allow a free exchange of opinions. If someone could explain to me, it would be very helpful.

By the way, I am a traditional Roman Catholic; I just have faith that the stronger argument will usually win out in a free exchange and therefore don’t see why this is banned.

Because this is a forum run by Catholics paid for by Catholics and for Catholics and others who want to learn about Catholicism. And seeing as how the Catholic Church believes itself to be the One Church founded by Christ and that to leave that Church is a mortal sin, you can see why they wouldn’t want other people trying to tear Catholics away from the Church.

But if there is misinformation about your church, you are welcome to correct it and to discuss topics giving your point of view.
