My goodness paarsurry what I am reading! You are an Ahmadi and how can you say like that:eek: ?read my previous post!I praised Ahmadi muslims for their peaceful nature!Btw,was I wrong? How can you say that,he only becomes violent when he becomes a “Jew”, in my opinion.Do you hate Jews?Do Ahmadi hate Jews?I always thought that Ahmadis are not hateful like other muslims,Perhaps I was wrong!!!
Hi

I am not hateful of the Jews, I did not mean the peaceful Jew of the present times if there are any, that is the reason I put inverted commas"" on the word “Jews”; from it I meant violent “Jews” of the time of Jesus, who put an innocent man Jesus on the Cross with the intention to kill him.

Muslim means peaceful;when a Muslim becomes violent, in spite of the peaceful teachings of Quran/Islam/Muhammad he ceases to remain a Muslim as the word suggests and becomes the like of those “Jews” in Jesus times symbolically.

I quote from Hadith:

Abdullah ben Umer narrates from the ProphetMessenger Muhammad (SAW) that he said there would definitely happen on my Ummah similar to what happened on the Benie (House of) Israel, it would be such a complete similarity as that of a pair of shoes - as one matches the other shoe, so perfectly this similarity would be.

If someone from the Benie Israel did an evil act with his mother, there would be some ill-fated person from my Ummah who would do that (nefarious) act also. Benie Israel got divided into seventy two sects, likewise my Ummah would get divided into seventy three sects, and all of them save one (sect) would go to Hell. The companions asked him as to who would be that saved (sect); he replied one who is on my (path) and that of my companions.

No discrepect is intended to the present day Jewish people, if they are peaceful.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna

Thanks

I think you should turn the mirror on yourselves.

Christians, Jews & Muslims lived in harmony under the Caliphate for hundreds of years.

Who started the Crusades? Who continues the Crusades today? Who sends drones to bomb isolated villages in Afghanistan?
Who continues to torture & imprison thousands of Muslims (27,000 at the last count) in secret prisons around the world? Who released men from Gitmo with no charge & no compensation or apologies. Whose armies are still illegally occupying others’ land & stealing their oil? Who plans to bomb Iran (with nukes if necessary) to anniliate millions including Christians?

As a Christain I am utterly ashamed of the evil we have done to these people. So much for Jesus’ non-violent message.

Hi

A “Muslim” can never be violent; he only becomes violent when he becomes a “Jew”, in my opinion.

I love Buddha and Krishna as I do love Jesus and Mary.

Thanks
So, Sultan Salahuddin is not a Muslim according to you

Why do you assume that the Muslims are just being violent against their neighbors?

Look closely and you will see people who in many cases are being persecuted and oppressed. Do you think Chinese Muslims are able to practice freely? Who is it that keeps trying to suppress the Chechnyans? French Muslim girls not being allowed to cover themselves in schools?

Muslims are fierce about protecting their freedom. But if you think they are just being violent and aggressive, or trying to conquer the world as dz put it, then I think you need to take a closer examination.
Don’t take the example of Muslim as Minority. See what happen to Muslim in Majority. In Indonesia for example.

Did they?
Who started the Crusades?
The Muslims when the invaded Jerusalem and no longer allowed Christians access.
Who continues the Crusades today?
No one. The wars that you claim to be part of the crusades are waged by secular governments against groups that most Muslims claim are not true Muslims.
Who sends drones to bomb isolated villages in Afghanistan?
Not related. If those in Afganistan turned all members of al Quida over, we would be gone.
Who continues to torture & imprison thousands of Muslims (27,000 at the last count) in secret prisons around the world? Who released men from Gitmo with no charge & no compensation or apologies.
Who supported a group that blew up our buidings and killed thousands of civilians in the hope to cause the collapse of the United States?
Whose armies are still illegally occupying others’ land & stealing their oil?
No one. Obviously, you missed when oil was over $120.00 a barrel, causing gas prices to reach the highest point in US history, causing inflation and an economic slowdown.
Who plans to bomb Iran (with nukes if necessary) to anniliate millions including Christians?
This is a new one on me. I guess Isreal.
As a Christain I am utterly ashamed of the evil we have done to these people. So much for Jesus’ non-violent message.
Do you understand that a government has the God-given responsibilty to protect its people? Or, let me guess, you think the US government carried out 9/11, the US Cole bombing, the embassy Bombing…

We are not attacking anyone for being Muslims. We are attacking enemies of the US who claim that Islam gives them permission to kill us.

going back to ideologies, let us read what Muslim scholars call the war conquests of Muhammad’s successors:

The Holy War, as it is known in Islamic Jurisprudence, is basically an offensive war. This is the duty of Muslims in every age when the needed military power becomes available to them. This is the phase in which the meaning of Holy War has taken its final form. Thus the apostle of God said: ‘I was commanded to fight the people until they believe in God and his message …"’
“Jurisprudence in Muhammad’s Biography”, the Azhar scholar, Dr. Muhammad Sa’id Ramadan al-Buti

Spreading Islam by killing, subjugating and humiliating lands that did not fight you is called peace in Islam. So if Muslims want to excuse what this or that is doing, what is the excuse against the Khulafa?

Sorry, oppression and suffering isn’t a suitable excuse for the gleeful slaughter of innocents…

Besides, this whole excuse about poverty and oppression and lack of education being the cause for the extremism is pure garbage. It’s just a convenient scape-goat…
Gleeful slaughter of innocents? No, the blood of innocents is never justified. But those who are oppressing and persecuting are not innocent. Or do you not agree?

I know that can be taken to an extreme (and it is) to justify bombing Israeli children for instance. But that is incorrect–children, civilians, those people are not responsible for oppression, and so they are innocent.

Secondly, poverty and oppression and lack of education is not a scapegoat. Or, are not scapegoats. People get upset when they are denied basic human rights, when they witness their families being slaughtered by invading militaries, when they are denied even basic education, when their daughters are not safe to leave their homes without being attacked and raped, when there is not enough food to feed their family.

The actual scapegoat is the religion–people who want to say that Islam is the problem, they do that because it’s easy to blame that, rather than look at the real problems, the real suffering of the people, because then they might feel obligated to relieve them of it, to actually help. But no, it’s easier to say that Islam is the problem, and just take up arms.

Easy, and foolish.

Muslims have to accept the reality here. Like Sister Amy, I know she is a peaceful Muslim who believes that Islam is a peaceful religion but I believe she is also trying to deny the fact that the cause of extremism by her Muslim brothers and sisters is the teachings of Muhammed, the Quran, Hadith, shariah law, etc. which is also the root of all problems. Meaning that if she thinks Islam is peaceful, why not ask her Muslim brothers and sisters about their different opinion or understanding of Islam?

My point here is, there must be something wrong with the Quran and other writings of Muhammed to cause other Muslims to believe otherwise.
There are extremists in every religion. In every culture you’ll find people who will twist their ideology to conform to their own desires and purposes. They will use whatever medium will best transmit their message.

So if they are among the Muslims, they might twist Islam to achieve their objectives, and to rally the people. Islam isn’t the problem. Over 90% of Muslims have no interest in violence. Muslims who abhor violence say that religion plays an important role in their life, just like those you might call extremists. The religion is NOT the problem, merely a scapegoat.

I suggest you look in to a book, ‘Who Speaks for Islam’ by John Esposito and Dalia Mogahed, as they did a lot of statistical polling of Muslims to reach their conclusions. Mogahed is really brilliant–you might even want to look up the debate she had with Irshad Manji, as she made some very strong arguments, with statistical proof, against what you’ve said.

**And where is this majority of Imams who speak out and say that the jihadists are NOT true Mahometans?

Isa akbar!

Isa akbar!

ISA AKBAR!

I bear witness there is NO GOD but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God Incarnate risen from the dead.**

My mother has an expression, when we are looking for something that is right under our noses but can’t see it.

She says: if it was a snake, it would’ve bit you!

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Well done!

Of course I agree, that’s why I said it. But what you’re unwilling to acknowledge is the fact that jihadists only attack military targets if it’s convenient to do so. The rest of the time it’s their specific mission to kill infidel civilians. And Islam explicitly instructs them to do so.

You mean like the Christians in Lebanon? Who were living peacefully with Muslims, until the Muslims decided they had enough power to attack their neighbors? Who was being slaughtered by militias then? Who’s daughters were attacked and raped then? Who had to hide in holes in the ground while their children starved then? I’ll give you one guess.

Muslims create their own suffering. Every country that has been overrun by Muslims either turns into a wasteland, or a repressive dictatorship. Again, look at Lebanon. It used to be known as the Paris of the Middle East, while the Christians were in charge. It’s a pit now. And whenever Muslims gather themselves into large groups in other countries, they deliberately segregate themselves. France and Germany are perfect examples, where Muslims have created areas for themselves that are so dangerous for non-Muslims that the police and fire department are afraid to enter them. Did you know that when the riots in Paris started, the Muslims suddenly produced machine guns and rocket propelled grenades that they had been hiding in their homes? I’m all for personal ownership of firearms, but the only reason I would ever have machine guns and explosives is if I were planning to fight a war.

I hate fighting. Really.

Islam absolutely does not instruct Muslims to kill civilians. Islam forbids it!

Let me be quite clear. I have no intention of justifying violent extremism, now or ever, nor injustices committed in the name of any religion, even Islam.

There are a couple of problems for Muslims in Europe, right now. Many of the people are refugees, many more are the labor class. Equivalent perhaps to Latinos here in the USA–and have earned disdain from the general population because of it. Latinos here face tremendous racism and discimination that Muslims usually don’t face here, but do face in Europe. In the USA Muslims are mostly middle class, in Europe they’re mostly lower class. And they are not treated as equals.

I really wish you would look at both sides of the issue. I hate that Muslims are causing trouble in Europe–they are, I’ll admit that, but it’s not because of Islam.

What if the people of your government hurt the people of theirs?
Ah, the dreaded Chicken and the egg argument.

From a Catholic standpoint, the role of protection of citizens only falls to lawfull governments.

Are you claiming that al Quida is a lawfull government?

Then again it may also be that Lebanon’s problems stem from having two powerful neighbors, Israel and Syria, who like to use it as a place to wage war against each other through militia surrogates.

Who brought up al-Qaeda?

I’m thinking of countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Palestine…

I mean, Hamas was democratically elected.
