This is all very well and good but the fact is you are not reaching the grassroots problem of violence in Islam. The hate preachers are the ones who have to be stopped. Issuing statements against things is completely pointless and ineffective. If someone like Naik stood up and preached against jihad it would be a start but all they hear is hate non-believers, kill apostates etc. There was a programme last year called Dispatches on Undercover Mosque - truly shocking and it wasn’t made up lies as Muslims state. Knowing that people are preaching hate against the west in Mosques in our country is an abomination! Last weekend thousands of muslims managed to get together in a few days to protest about Gaza. How about doing the same thing to protest against violence and terrorism next time there is an attack? There won’t be and you wonder why you look like supporters! This is what WE all see obsessionthemovie.com/ - what positive steps are “peaceful” muslims doing to change our opinion - words are not enough? How would you feel about islam if you weren’t muslim and were faced with all of this?

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I have several videos on clerics preaching hatred and then turning around and telling us something totally different about what is going on in mosques and madrassas. Or the books that were supposed to be destroyed that is filled with hatred that were xeroxed before being destroyed and still being used as texts.

Too many times muslims will do things for us to make us believe islam is peaceful and against the violence, and then turn around and do and say other things that are more in line with violence and hatred that the koran teaches.

Since deception is sanctioned in the koran - I don’t believe those fatwas - sorry, but I just do not. I think the majority of them were made for our wanting them to do it. There might have been one or two that are sincere - but who can tell when deception is all a part of islam?!

In accordance to school procedure, the homeroom teacher collected papers, books and bags before the exam papers were passed around. She left them in front of the class for pupils to retrieve later.

One of the girls responded by starting to cry and was soon telling her classmates that there had been a copy of the Quran in her bag left in front of the classroom.

The girl claimed that because Christianah was a Christian, she had desecrated the Quran by touching it.

The students began to chant in unison, “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great)". These school age girls then beat, stoned and clubbed Christiania to death where she stood.

The deed done, the girls then dragged her corpse outside of the school building and burned it.
 
This problem was foretold in Genesis 16:11:

You are now pregnant and shall bear a son;
you shall name him Ishmael,
God has answered you,
He shall be a wild *** of a man,
his hand against everyone,
and everyone’s hand against him;
In opposition to all his kin
shall he encamp.
 
I see that *** were put in place of the word that I typed straight from my American Bible. So I will give the definition of it----
  1. a long-eared mammal of the same family as the horse; donkey
  2. a stupid fool; silly or stubborn person

I know I’ll get some flak for this, but there really is nothing to suggest that all arabs are decendend from Ishmael. Just Ishmaeites

Truly barbaric! www.thereligionofpeace.com - eye opening and true stories. I do not know how ANYONE can think it is a peaceful “religion”. I cannot understand why they think it could be the word of God!

The word is “taqiyya” and it relates to how Muslims act and interact with non-Muslims. Here is the sura and verse for you to see, and also to show those Muslims where they are wrong. Ready?

YUSUFALI: When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies.

PICKTHAL: And when ye go forth in the land, it is no sin for you to curtail (your) worship if ye fear that those who disbelieve may attack you. In truth the disbelievers are an open enemy to you.

SHAKIR: And when you journey in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten the prayer, if you fear that those who disbelieve will cause you distress, surely the unbelievers are your open enemy.

The four schools of Islamic jurisprudence all agree that this verse means that Muslims can and should lie when around non-Muslims, for fear of being exposed as a Muslim. And as you can see, this verse calls for you as a Muslim to see the non-Muslim as your enemy. No confusion here!

Personally, I think that if their jihad happened then they would kill all non-believers without even thinking. These are the people who are pretending to be friends with us! Once they killed all kuffars they would turn on each other like animals. That much hate can only come from the devil.

Moderate arab governments, like Egypt, allow clerics to preach hatred because it serves as a sort of release valve that prevents the citizens from turning on the government. Egypt for example, is taking heat for its refusal to open its borders to Gaza. This is very unpopular with its citizens. So you have clerics now calling us pigs and monkeys. And when Egypt allows this, its people take its silence as implied agreement.

A person is on the outside what he is one the inside. Islam has at its core the doctrine of killing those who are not like you. Christianity teaches us to love our enemies. No where in the Koran will you this idea. That is why they hate. Hatred for others is at the core of their religion.

In accordance to school procedure, the homeroom teacher collected papers, books and bags before the exam papers were passed around. She left them in front of the class for pupils to retrieve later.

One of the girls responded by starting to cry and was soon telling her classmates that there had been a copy of the Quran in her bag left in front of the classroom.

The girl claimed that because Christianah was a Christian, she had desecrated the Quran by touching it.

The students began to chant in unison, “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great)". These school age girls then beat, stoned and clubbed Christiania to death where she stood.

The deed done, the girls then dragged her corpse outside of the school building and burned it.

Ah, thanks. Searching for it myself, I also found this article from the BBC, lest any of our Muslim posters refuse to believe your link since it comes from a Christian news source.
