That is not true. Israel is not on the list complied by the world for terrorist org. but Hamas is on that list. Also Israel does not run any concentration camps anywhere. Please try to be truthful in what you say.

What exactly is the problem with this post? How is it racist? Many Sunni scholars have spoken out against terrorism. This is a true statement. A simple search on Google will show you that. In fact, if I recall Sister Amy or Muslim Woman posted a litany of these in another threat. Look it up is you don’t believe me. Second, Israel is an EXPLICITLY Jewish country. Most Right-wing religion Jews want to see the Mizvahs upheld. Hence, I used the phrase "want-to-be theocracy. In fact, one of the reason they don’t want to annex Gaza and the West Bank is because it will change the demographics. This is common knowledge. Finally, what would you call Gaza and the West Bank??? At the very least it is occupied land. I have heard many people call the conditions similar to a concentration camp.

They cannot annex the OCCUPIED territories because the demographics of Israel would change. Also, they do not want another Arab state that can form an Army. The only plausible solution is to continue to take Palestinian land for settlements and hope the Palestinians will leave. One Israeli girl I knew asked my why the Palestinians can’t leave and go to another Arab country. Yet, when the same questions is posed by a Palestinian to an Israeli, there is an outcry of anti-semitism and racism.

Honestly this is like each throwing accusation against the other. Before this we have the Camp David accord and Arafat brought it to his grave after chickened out the last minute to implement it.

The latest, Israel has evacuated Gaza and most of the West Bank. I think there is so much mistrust against each other you’ll need a great person to break this chain and set them free and be courageous to pursue peace. The small size of a country does not matter for it to prosper if its people are vigilant and hardworking. There is even one city-state today that does very well so I don’t buy the notion that the size of Gaza and West Bank would prohibit Palestine to prosper and its people to enjoy good lives.

If Israel is strong and Palestine weak , then why not the latter pursue for peace. Have you heard what the Hamas says about its ultimate goal?

Consider this:

Of course this passage do not apply to war per se but a country can only do what it can and should realize its capability and settle for the best out of it. I think I am going to receive flak for saying this but right now there is so much unrealistic expectation in the Middle East.

But that’s now. In a peace treaty, I thought Palestine will take the West Bank and Gaza and Israel all of Jerusalem. The West Bank is good enough. Even Gaza can be turned into a viable state what with Arab oil fortune. Look at how Dubai is being transformed into an ultra modern state and it’s got nothing to do with its size.

I mean, at least it is much, much better than the condition of the Palestinians right now in Gaza and the West Bank. And imagine the international assistance that can be poured into Palesstine to make it a decent country.

I don’t know the specific but the eventual outcome of peace should bring peace to the people concerned instead of war and strife, which cause death and destruction. There is a good basis for peace in Camp David Accord but maybe both sides kept upping the ante. There is issue about refugees and where should they settle.

Obviously in a peace treaty something gonna be lost but at least they gain peace. At least there is hope for young Palestinian families and children – education and decent way of life. This is much better than the perpetual ruin and destruction as what we can see in Gaza today and the suicide bombing in Israel.

What is being involved here is the passionate ideal of nationalism, where a solution would be formidable to find because its demands would be too much for what’s so little to share.

I don’t think there’s ever been a time in the history of warfare when any army has made more efforts to reduce civilian casualties and deaths of innocent people than the IDF is doing today in Gaza. When you look at the number of civilian casualties that have been caused, that perhaps doesn’t sound too credible: I would accept that. However, Hamas — the enemy that they are fighting — has been trained by Iran and Hezbollah to fight among the people and use the civilian population in Gaza as a human shield; and Hamas factor in the use of the civilian population as a major part of their defensive plan. So even though, as I say, the IDF is taking enormous steps to reduce these civilian casualties it’s impossible, it’s impossible to reduce these civilian casualties when the enemy is using them as a shield.

That land belongs to Israel and since muslims cannot live with others peacefully - and have systematically driven them out, killed them, stole their lands - as they have done to Christians and other non-muslims, I find your map misleading.

This exodus is a result of the unprecedented mistreatment of Jews and Christians throughout the Middle East.

Egyptian Christians are embattled minority with dwindling right; trapped in poverty and uncertainty, despised and distrusted as second class citizens; facing discrimination in education, jobs and from police and the courts. Often they are victim of brutality. This applies to many countries with a Muslim majority. Yet no Muslim leader voices his objection to such a treatment.

In Iraq, following the fall of Saddam Hussein, Christians have been randomly assassinated, , Christian women have been threatened unless they cover their heads, Christian shop owners of liquor stores, music stores, fashion stores and beauty salons have been attacked. Islamists make it clear that these establishments and not welcomed. And yet no ruler in the Middle East voiced objection to such atrocities.
