Please explain this with links as to what is happening.
You mean links that show how both Republicans and Democrats have been screwing over veterans? Sure

mnpoliticalroundtable.com/2015/05/19/house-republicans-reject-housing-support-for-homeless-veterans-while-promoting-armed-forces-day/

Then there’s this bill by Sanders (who I disagree with on almost everything except this) that was shot down by the House: govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/s1982/summary

There’s more where those came from. The politicians talk like they care, but they don’t.

First of all, prior to the this Brave New World we live in, we used to call it AMERICA, not “the Homeland”. What are we, Klingons?
Secondly please explain how refugees fleeing Isis and a war WE started in Syria are murderers? Does being Muslim make one an instant terrorist?
And you want to put them in a concentration camp?
Incredible.
Please speak for yourself if you choose to implicate yourself in starting a war and before trying to lay a guilt trip on everyone.

The war in Syria was started by who, exactly?

99% of the people who live in AMERICA did not have anything to do with the war in Syria, nor in the fall of regimes in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt or Ukraine, yet now they are being asked to get involved in the fallout from what that (less that 1%) small cadre of leaders decided to do in “our” best interests.

Oh I don’t know, Boston umm Fort Hood just to name two
These two incidents are not ‘recent’ and they do not prove anything about the Syrian refugee vetting process - neither of the two went thru this vetting process,

I say it is extremely faulty, you like it just fine. Disagreement
Alright. What do you think is extremely faulty about it though? I’m genuinely asking. Because all the evidence I’ve found says it is the most stringent process we have for entering the country.

I hope my fellow Catholics remember the words of Christ.

***"For I was hungry and you gave me food,
I was thirsty and you gave me drink,
I was a stranger and you welcomed me…

Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you…

‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me."***

We must not let fear drive us away from the Gospel message.
We must live up to the teachings of Christ, living in hope and love, helping the oppressed.
Amen.

I can’t remember a poster yet stating the opposite of this.

Umm, how did we start a war in Syria?

Agreed! The best thing we can do is allow our vets to seek health care anywhere they choose, even the VA  if they want!
And to think, the Democrats want all of us to have government health care.

How do you do background checks on people who have no birth certificate? What if their documents are fake? What if they plain ol lie?

You don’t think an Officer in the U.S. Army is vetted. If nothing else being as he was an Officer I’d guess he held a Secret clearance at the least.

Being recent has nothing to do with it, IMO.

And you really believe we are using this process for all those coming across our southern boarder?

I suppose when the borders are so porous as to permit in hundreds of thousands of illegals every year, claiming this is the MOST stringent process doesn’t really say much, does it?

This has not been my personal experience with the VA system here in Indin for the treatment the last 15 years.

And you really believe we are using this process for all those coming across our southern boarder?
No. Didn’t say that. But this is kind of my point. There are so many easier ways to get in. Forge a student visa and you’re here in two days. Sneak across the border.

Why on earth wait in a camp for three years?

That’s good. But the vast, vast, majority of vets can’t say the same. It’s despicable really what our politicians have done to them.

So just what are the percentages for good versus bad.

You say the “vast, vast, majority”, what is vast, vast majority. Your claim, or some talking head on TV?

I’ve yet to see a hospital 100% without error.
