Why are Protestants confused by Gays?

Leviticus 20:13 If any one lie with a man as with a woman, both have committed an abomination, let them be put to death: their blood be upon them.
As far as the duet chapter 22 is concerned, i put down the wron verse.
And yes God did approve of slavery. And i don’t see anything wrong with it. Would i own a slave? no. if for some reason or another someone gave me a slave would i keep him as a slave? no, i would set him free. But if someone else saw fit to keep a slave and it was legal. sure go ahead.

So according to the “letter of the law”, as you make clear, God approved slavery. What about according to the “spirit of the law”? Is it approved then as well?

And again, just out of curiosity, does the translation you use contain the words “as with” in brackets?

That the planets travel in perfect circles around the Sun, and that the Sun is the centre of the Universe.

In actual fact, the planets travel elliptically around the Sun, and also the Sun itself is travelling around whatever is at the centre of the Galaxy, which in its own turn is also travelling around something.

Copernicus (who was a Jesuit priest) knew all these things, long before Galileo came along.
