To be honest, I have to agree with you. At times it seems like it is around just to tell Protestants how wrong they are. Now, I know there are Prot. who come here just to fight, but everytime I try to make a point, only for the sake of dialouge, I get told how I do not know anything about my faith. That hurts, especially when you came here just seeking ecumenical conversation.

Ok then. I’ll show myself to the door. Did not mean to step into somewhere I am not wanted.

You know, Catholics become furious when some Prot. question them, but when some of us (like myself) join up for only one purpose (to have decent and friendly conversation) we only get told how wrong and backwards we are. If you want some Prot. to be more respectful, give us the same grace. I did not come here to convert. To me, that is insulting to try and do. In fact, we have more in common than you think, and everytime I have tried to bring that idea, I have only gotten how Prot. are obstinate little children. Thanks for your time.

May I? Please don’t leave. Take a beak if you need to but don’t all out stop coming by and saying, “Hi.” Don’t let a few remarks ruin your day. I’m Catholic (despite what other Catholics say about my ideas :D) and I am sure of my own sinfulness. Let’s have a tea and tell me about yer mum, then. Whaddayasay?

I posted two different threads in the Non-Catholic Religions section in the past several days, NOT to be antagonistic, but:
  1. Because I am a non-Catholic
  2. Because this is the forum area I most commonly frequent, and where people who know me are most likely to see my post and respond to me.
  3. And because I wasn’t sure where else would be most-appropriate to post.
I figured the moderators would make any needful changes and givem me a head’s-up if I were egregiously in-the-wrong. I do try to be a gracious guest on this forum and abide by the rules, but and always prepared to be admonished if I inadvertently behave inappropriately.

Sorry if I’ve bugged anyone.
