Why are relics so important in the catholic faith? Much more than in others branches.

Relics are sacramentals, which explained simply means they are an object that God will give us graces and blessings through.

Venerating a relic can be seen as a form of praying without using words, and is a great addition to your daily prayer routine.

Besides spiritual inspiration, there are many examples in the Holy Scriptures and Catholic history of miracles caused by/related to relics.

They make all the stories we hear about saints and biblical stories real and tangible. At least in my experience, seeing the relics of saints reminds me that these things are real, not just stories I hear.
