Why are scenes of "The Da Vinci Code" being filmed in a Catholic church?

When is the church serious about weeding out heresy and when is it ok to accept it? We all know for certain that this piece of fiction has stirred up the imagination of many and as a one that came straight from the hand of satan. I find it very contradictory and probably heretical to hear that the Dean of Lincoln Cathedral has allowed the filming crew of this satanic propaganda access, after having been declined access from one cathedral in protest. However this acceptance came about with a reported 100,100pound donation. Hey are we buying/selling our faith here? Are we supporting the devil?

We all know the old saying,‘don’t play with fire.’ The devil is far smarter than us in every way possible. Why isn’t there mass protest about this madness. I believe that this piece of work by the devil shouldn’t be allowed in any Catholic church. I don’t think for once that such stupidity would never be allowed in a mosque - that’s how sacred it is to them. What has happened to the sacredness of our churches?

Lincoln Cathedral is not Catholic; it’s Anglican. Catholic cathedrals don’t have deans.

I agree, there is no justification for such a movie being filmed in a Christian church. We need to pray for our Anglican brothers and sisters!
