Artists tend to use the right side of the brain more often…here are the qualities for both sides:
The Right Brain
•Recognizing faces
•Expressing emotions
•Music
•Reading emotions
•Color
•Images
•Intuition
•Creativity
The Left Brain
•Language
•Logic
•Critical thinking
•Numbers
•Reasoning
Whereas most people are left-brained technically (thus, most people are right-handed), and so there’s a decent chance at least a good amount of artists are left-handed. This is not to say that most people being left-brained is true regardless if they’re south-pawed or not, because generally one could say that most liberals are not logical or critical thinkers or about numbers, etc. since they tend to be more emotional about stuff, and certainly most aren’t very creative either.
However, with that said, there are a number (perhaps more rare, I don’t know) that are equally left and right-brained. I consider myself in this category since I work in Information Technology (nearly 20 years) but I do filmmaking and acting on the side (mostly losing money – my own! lol). Would be good if people chipped in so I could continue making quality projects quicker and be able to pay my current volunteers. I do free videos for my parish as something new, but mostly I do fictional drama narratives that are spiritually-based. Here’s my latest project (an episode from my award-winning web TV series “Day Zero”) that’s free to view online. I wrote it with influence by Saint Maximilian Kolbe and the Holy Spirit

It’s probably the only evangelization fictional series made by a Catholic around these days that has no budget (thus, NOT competing with Patrick Coffin, obviously! lol). Just FYI - TV 14 for some instances of very tame violence and harsh but not profane language, comparatively. Greek Tragedy concept, basically.
