Why are so many people finding the need to do things like dress up as animals and have sex or implant silicone in their chests? Is it due to exposure to inappropriate content at a young age? Is it due to boredom from the continuous submission to lust? Is it due to the desire to feel unique? Is it due to neglect and longing for attention?
Why are so many people struggling with their sexual identification and orientation?

A man and a woman. Otherwise is perversion.
Nowadays, people act like you can’t even tell who is a man and who is a woman.

They didn’t raise their children. Too many either left the house, left their wife, failed to live out their marriage heroically, lost control over their zipper, didn’t model true masculinity (in the most heroic and proper sense of the term).
Or beat their kids, beat their wife, got trapped into porn, or they were generally indifferent about raising children. milquetoast dads.
Some studies (accepting that to publish things like this is treated like a criminal offense now) say most homosexuals had absent fathers, abusive fathers, dominant mothers, or had earlier exposure to porn, or were sexually abused by someone.

My guess would be that many of these things have existed in one form or another throughout the centuries it’s just that as the world is now connected at the click of a button people are far more aware of them. Some things used to be kept private but there seems to be an increasing desire to share anything and everything. I still don’t even understand why people post pictures of the food they are about to eat on social media!

It is a discnnection from reality, by an overemphasis on personal feelings and preferences. One must recognize reality through intellect, not feelings or emotions.
Actually, most of the people that I know that struggle with these things do have troubled upbringings, specifically poor fathers, but there are also very many more people with poor upbringings that don’t struggle with these things at all. Do you think there is a specific difference in upbringing to p(name removed by moderator)oint? Or do you think poor upbringings just affect people differently?

The Hollywood Effect, too much ‘tolerance’, the internet, are just some reasons. These all go towards the environmental effects. I’m sure biology plays a role as well, although I think environment or cultural influences tends to be underestimated.

I have yet to have a good understanding of furries if that’s what you mean. Not all furries need to have sex as their fursona. Yikes, how do I know even that much?
Someone suggested something about difficulty with relationships, including sexual ones, outside of their fursona.
Are you talking about breast augmentation? A different reason for every person. I only know a couple of people irl who hace had ut done and one did it so she didn’t look like a boy (she didn’t really gave curves) and the other wanted to look good for her husband (she also has some issues with her hormones that also made her feel unattractive.)
Unrealistic standard of beauty in media is another reason.

Actually, It’s our intellect and will make us human…animals have passions and appetites.
When we think about what makes us human…we immediately should also think about how God wants humans to become images of Jesus Christ (humans modeling divinity).
Only when our will and our intellect are in control of our body, appetites and passions can it choose to self-give in love, like Jesus did on the Cross.
Such self-gift is in fact the Catholic definition of love.
And we know that we often have to deny and self give when our passions and appetites and emotions are barking against that choice.
