Why are some crosses upside down?

Just curious, I usually see this. Isn’t it a bit of a heresy? is it tribute to Peter?
 
That is right. Peter was crucified upside down at his own request. He did not feel worthy to die the same way as Jesus.

The satanist groups take a crucifix that has Jesus affixed and will turn this upside down. This is part of their ritual to totally reverse what God has setup. You can tell from this, they are dillusional. They do damage but are on the wrong side of this battle. God wins in the end.
