Why are some people standing after Communion?

I have noticed that in the new church I attend, after recieving communion, some people after returning to their pew’s, remain standing while other kneel, still others will kneel than after a short prayer will stand. O,K. I’m confused. I have always kneeled after returning to my pew. Am I wrong?
