I’ve always found it strange that the bible was written in 3rd person. Why wouldnt the disciples of Jesus write their personal stories about him as a first person account? You never hear any “I’s” or “Me’s” or “We’s” written by any of the gospel writters. Dont you find this strange?

Hi Sandy,

The Gospels do quote Jesus in the first person. The authors of the Gospel accounts realize that what they were writing about was the Son of God and not about themselves. They wisely put their egos behind them and allowed the Holy Spirit to write through them.
