Why are the prayers in church always addresse to God the Father?

Rome has always emphasized in persona Christi in its Liturgies and Sacraments (Confession, for instance, is explained and done much differently than in the East). Jesus always addressed God the Father, and never addressed the Holy Spirit, though did mention and send forth the Spirit.

The Mozarbic Rite Mass addresses Jesus Christ significantly more than the Roman Rite.
