Why are there so many anti-Muslim statements on this forum?

I’m sorry if this is the wrong section to post this under, but I have noticed a lot of anti-Muslim posts/threads, or just insulting replies to Muslims on this forum. I once joined a Muslim forum to learn more about Islam and noticed so many anti-Christian threads, and Muslims shouldn’t have to feel the same way on this site.

I don’t know that I have seen a lot of posts I would actually consider “anti-Muslim”. I will say, however, that I have caused “insult” to Muslims on here by, for example, arguing that most of the people in “Palestine” are Jews; that most “Palestinians” live in Jordan; that most Palestinians consider themselves simply “Arabs”, not a distinct ethnic group that is coextensive with a specific national territory, like “Germans” or “Russians”. All of those things are, of course, factually true, though to some, they are ideologically unacceptable.

Insult is often in the eye of the beholder.

I am not sufficiently familiar, personally, with the Koran or the Hadith, but I have seen people on here quote some really awful things from them. Possibly, if some Muslims do not take them literally, it would seem insulting to suggest that “all Muslims” do.

Because some people aren’t very kind, or live in a weird little bubble.

Since you are **pointing **to CAF with “anti-muslim statements” please post the “posts” so they may be discussed… otherwise your initial thread is very broad & meaningless.

You will never find anything kind in an islamic forum about Christians. They are very harsh.

But then again, they get all of their information from answering Christianity.com which is… how do I post this… the site is “vile & disgusting”.

Maybe some doubt their peaceful intentions: Big rally by Islamic Jihad in Gaza, joined by Hamas.
Tens of thousands of supporters of the militant Islamic Jihad movement rallied in the streets of Gaza on Friday, chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.” Young men and boys wearing white T-shirts with a slogan in the shape of a rifle bore portraits of militants killed in combat, under the black flags of Islamic Jihad…

From my experience here I have seen very few (although there have been some) actual threads that have been anti-Islamic.

There have been threads discussing such things as contradictions in the Quran, the reality that most terrorists are muslim and various other issues usually theological or ideological regarding Islam. Now these are not offensive unless the beholder has it in their head that any argument regarding islam itself, and regarding in some cases facts about islam is an offense to Islam. It is possible to see why people may be offended but thats the nature of a religious forum, you discuss religion and by definition thats a touchy topic.

Regarding the opening post, if you expect this forum to simply sit in a circle regarding islam and sing kumbaya then you are sadly mistaken. Yes people should not be anti-islamic in the genuine sense of say an evangelical calling all catholics cannibal mary-worshipping idolaters. But if you mean simply ignoring things and kowtowing to muslims on issues such as the fact that most terrorists are muslim, contradictions in the quran and theological and ideological issues with Islam then you are sadly mistaken. It is a religious forum, not a relativist tea party where no one holds conviction.

I haven’t seen that many lately (in the past week or so) but a year or so more ago there were a lot more.

So why are they here? Fox News. 😃 (Could be joking…)

Most likely, its because the sort of people who frequent forums tend to want to be very fierce. They can’t do it in reality so they do it online–and they love to hate, and try to justify their hate, and spend time around people who they can hate along with. And those people like telling lies and half-truths to spread the lies (and yeah, Muslims who hate on Christians are the same–immature, childish, and very unsophisticated in their understanding of religion, and fed a bunch of lies by whomever they’re hanging with.)

But Christians here (only because they’re the majority do you notice it maybe) hate on Muslims the way some hate on Catholics or Protestants or Mormons. And Muslims hate on the others the same way. With arrogant immature ignorance. Makes you want to chase them around and step on their fingers, doesn’t it?

Anyway, even here you get Muslims and other non-Catholics proudly hating on Catholics.

The internet turns us all into raving lunatics. 🙂

Who controls FOX NEWS?
How do you define a anti Muslim trend on the threads, many of those posting insults against Muslims don’t know they are posting insults. there is so much that can be said, but sometimes it is impossible to point the finger , because some writers are a protected species .

Alarm bells were ringing, when Newspapers around the world published cartoons of Mohammed, I did a investigation to find out who was behind the insulting cartoons.

I found 127 media outlets published the cartoons. I then continued to find out who owned these media outlets, who controlled the information that was being published, I found the 127 media outlets were all involved with one group of people, so who do I trust. members of that group could be here pretending to be Catholic, so they can write anti/Muslim statements. for those who would like to check out my findings. just Google “Mohammed Cartoons” the Danes were wrongly blamed.

I have seen at least a few posts, where people like to say that Allah isn’t the same God that Christians have and in one, He was even compared to the devil,

Every time a Muslim makes a post, I can almost guarantee that there will be a negative response to them,

I understand that a lot of the points made are valid, but only if Muslims interpret the same way as Catholics do when reading the Qu 'ran and clearly they don’t. One time, my Muslim boyfriend asked about the Holy Trinity, so I showed him a thread on this website explaining it. Out of curiosity, he looked at the “non-Catholic Religions” forum and was really offended. He explained how incorrectly the Qu 'ran has been interpreted on here and asked me not to refer him to this website again.

Some posts even give the impression that Muslims aren’t true Muslims unless they support the evil interpretation of Jihad or lie to protect other Muslims.

I don’t really fancy going searching through threads but here is a starter:forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=427658

i would have to say the anti comments are in the minority. but there often is alot of heated debate between the two. we dont do the best when it comes to communication, too bad, but thats the way it is. and in the real world, of the middle east, it usually goes beyond hostile debate. Peace 🙂

Could it be because the Muslims are wrong on just about everything? 🤷
