Ok I was online & On YouTube & there’s Video’s Of people trying to say Catholics & Catholicism Are A One World Religion & we Practice satan & Had Video’s on youtube trying to Say Our Catholic Religion Is trying to gather Nations of Other Religions to become A One World Religion & some more Very Ignorant & Stupid stuff It made me upset Because I do not see Our Religion Or Faith as trying to Be evil Or against the World I see Us As A Universal Religion who accepts all walks of life like why? are people saying such ignorant things that they have no clue about , about Catholics & & the Catholic Church .

I’m not Upset , But it Bothers me that People that know nothing about Catholic & The Church Really Bothers me like Why not Teach yourself about something Before going out & speaking about it & speaking upon Jesus’s Church as if they really know it but have never picked up A Book about the Religion .

It is for things like that that St. Peter said you have to be prepared to defend your faith. Best thing you can do is learn you faith well and be able to explain to people their misconceptions of what they believe the Church stands for. Even if they don’t accept it others who hear the argument might recognize your arguments for what they are ---- the truth.
 
John 15: 18-25

The World Hates the Disciples

Jesus warned:

18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

Shine your light. Shine your light with those you meet in real life. Be ready to give a reason for the hope within you to anyone who asks.

I’ve learned that there’s a bunch of weirdos on youtube. Stay away from them. DOn’t click and give them what they want.

They are angry with God…God promised that all nations would be blessed and through Covenants did so…
6And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and** I will be their God**.

God revealed himself to bring the Nations to himself in the OT and in the NT established the Church as the means to bring and reconcile all to himself…many oppose God…it happened in the OT and it happens in the NT and since…

nothing new under the sun.
 
You really have to pick and choose with u-tube. Hey, Father Barron is on there too! and Scott Hahn. I was watching some just last night, and then some of that junk popped up. I just got out of there. Some stuff is funny, some is really good, and some is nasty. I did get a kick out of the inuit village doing the Hallajula chorus over Christmas though - it was endearing. Some of those people are so virulent about Catholicism that there is no use talking with them or commenting. Mostly, they do not extend their 15 minutes of fame! Thank heaven.
 
Breathe, first of all. There are a lot of rumors. Are any of them true? No.

Next, get down on your knees and pray for them, for they know not what they do. May God have mercy.
 
I understand what you are saying.
Unfortunately the internet provides an easy means to spread untruths,
and because these untruths appear on the world wide web, presented as ‘fact’,
many will believe the untruths.

There are many sites that falsely malign the Church and Church teachings, and unfortunately in many instances there isn’t a lot we can do about it.

We can exhaust ourselves fighting this many-headed hydra.
We must pray.
We can refute where possible,
but there are likely to remain those people who are deceived.

Strong convictions, even if untrue, when backed up with carefully selected arguments (and in this case, scriptures carefully removed from context), can be very influential.
 
The speed of information in our world does not make the information accurate, just faster.
I recomend staying away from crazy websites run by crazy people,

The same reason they called Christ himself the devil in the bible. Remember the words of Christ, If you love me keep my word.

Christ was persecuted and killed on the Cross, why do you think they would treat his Church any different.

Christ himself warned us his Church will be persecuted and we will also be persecuted. And who gets it more then the RCC and the Pope.

Remember what Christ said, if they persecute me they will persecute you.

Well, have you checked the progress with the Orthodox and Catholic dialogue and union or the Reformed Catholic dialogue, Evangelical Catholic dialogue, Lutheran Catholic dialogue, Baptist Catholic dialogue…actually the Baptists cut off dialogue…but hey you can have a pipe dream…
