Why aren't Moses and Elijah saints?

My Mormon wife has a big problem with anything that has to do with Saints. Last night she wanted to know why Old Testament prophets aren’t saints. I was baptised Catholic on April 7th. She didn’t buy my explanation. Can anyone help her?:signofcross:
