Isn’t it great that no matter where you are in the Catholic world, you know that everyone else is hearing exactly the same message of the day as you are at Mass!
that’s what i love about it! i’ve told my protestant friends about this and they find it hard to believe that every catholic church in every city/town/village in the world not only uses the same rite of mass (eastern rite churches excluded of course) but uses the same readings every week,

Yeah and they can’t validly claim that we don’t read and preach the Bible…(that’s so lame anyway…)

CM, the CC reads and preaches the Bible? How can the Catholic Church read and preach the Bible when they are all chained down?😃

Oooohhh yeah…I heard about that. It isn’t that way in my church, but I heard about that. Chained those precious handwritten copies of the Word of God right to the pulpits we did. Someone out there askin’ “Why”? :ehh:

Hmmm, :hmmm: lemme cogitate on this for a moment here…Ooohh yeah, I remember now. Since it took about a good year or so to hand copy each one of them, that made them very rare and valuable and so they were chained to the pulpits for the same reasons that phone books are chained and pens are chained to the desks at banks…so they don’t “walk off” and everyone can have access to it when they need to. :bible1:

If we know more the Bible, the protestants convert easily, there are too much ignorance.
Yes. Sooner or later, their love of Scripture and of the Truth will overcome their hatred and ignorance of Catholicism.

I can only pray that it’s sooner than later…

Perhaps Catholic teachings have some more evolution and developement necessary to process the Word. Noprotest.

By which you mean exactly what?

Guess you don’t mean much…
In the end Catholics will not respond to the false teachings that come our way from n-C sources because the Holy Spirit leads us away from such. Deep in my heart I know the fallacies of the Solas and all the cascading errors that have come down from them.
Pax vobiscum,
