I’ve rarely heard a sermon on the real presence. Mass attendances are grey (with the odd blue rinse!) and the real wealth of the Church is not shared out. That said, many people here want to be entertained by a ‘quick’ priest, so they can fulfil their requirements and go back to more important matters.

From the article;
Even among the 50% of those who were aware of the Church’s teaching, a third said that they still regarded the Eucharist as a symbol, leaving only 31% who actually believed the Church’s teaching.
One of the more disturbing things I’ve read with regards to this subject. Even though they know the Church’s teaching on the Eucharist, they still refuse to believe. Stunning!

Well he. Robert Barron teaching on the Mass. Described the outline. But what can’t be denemstrated. Is the grace received that changes your day.or life. But there is an emotional boost.

Yes you are right. Like saint Paul said. In 1 cor.12
Of spirituality I would not have you ignorant. Many are ignorant.
Buy they ignore it.

This is another article based on the Pew poll that did not understand Catholic theology.

Every Catholic should know the bread and wine are symbols. Christ is really present, but that does not negate the sacramental sign.
