april, is there something you intend to accomplish here besides insulting people?
Don’t mean to insult, just looking for answers and to understand a little more of the catholic mind

Hi April. Catholic means universal. Are you interested in understanding the universal mind? How open-minded can you be?

So I understand, are you looking for evidence that gods are mythical creatures?
Are you attached to a particular concept of gods? Because that will prevent you form understanding anything new. Are you willing to let go of your preconceptions?

With all due respect, I find catholics to be very closed minded and indoctrinated. I accept that they must follow doctrine. Is this forum full of hard core catholics or are there more moderates, who question catholic doctrine, in the light of scientific discovery

With all due respect I’ve yet to here of any science that would change catholic doctrine, if you had heard some, please enlighten us. As for your first claim. I find this humorous in lihjt of your closeminded refusal to even entertain or discuss ideas that are contrary to your own, despite your claims that your are looking for answers.

The obvious one I see on this forum, is the church’s, anti-scientific view on homosexuality. The refusal to accept the scientific evidence for the evolution of homosexuality

Where has the Catholic Church said anything about the evolution of homosexuality?

My ideas, as you call them are not my own

Umm, because being homosexual allows one to have more offspring?

You have my undivided attention now. 😃

You have clarified that you believe in a first mover; if this isn’t a god of some shape or form, what is it? Do you think that somehow nothing can come from nothing?
In her case, I wouldn’t doubt it.
