Why contraception an issue of morality?

I’m somewhat new to these threads, and in the time I’ve been on here I’ve noticed a lot of them deal with contraception. I was just wondering if someone could please explain to me why this is a moral issue and not a personal one? How are contraceptives unbiblical?

God gives us a great gift. He gives us the ability to give life to a human being. This is done through an act of love between a husband and a wife. When a person uses contraception they seperate the act from the gift. By doing this the meaning of the act is perverted and turned into a simple act of lust. It is turned into purely an act of passion.
