Years ago words at consecration were…“Then he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for “all men” for the forgiveness of sins.”
Then the words “all men”, were changed to “all”…( I assume this change was made to placate the feminist movement”)
Today the word “all” has been changed to “many”
The words “all men” (humanity) or “all” are inclusive of all mankind/persons.
The word “many” implies that Jesus didn’t shed his blood on the cross for everyone.
Can you clear this up for me?
