Why did God (or Jesus) only appear in a certain region?

If God appeared to you, right now, today. He might convince you of His existence.

But if you told anyone else, you’d be committed to an asylum because today’s world is not open to revelation.

Right, which means if God considers spreading knowledge of his existence as paramount then it would be best if he did it directly.

I think people may not realize the various examples around the world of what sounds very familiar to us Christians (ie very close to Genesis), sometimes even prophecies of ie people in black robes (recognized as priests) or the whites bringing a holy scroll to follow God (recognized as the Bible).

Why does God use people? Because He wants to use people in His plan of salvation. We are coworkers with God.

The Jews were God’s chosen people, the seed of Abraham. Through his seed, the families of the whole world would be blessed. We believe this prophecy is fulfilled in Christ Jesus.

Is there a reason why he chose people over himself to spread his word, knowing full well the problems that would cause?
Right, so the natural end of this line of reasoning is, why did God not simply create people already enjoying Him blissfully, without the trouble in between?

What’s going on there?

There’s a lot to ponder…

But to address the last point you made (5), one must make distinctions. The invisible covenant of faith is always available through grace, regardless of the availability of articulated preaching on the mysteries of salvation.
