Acts 16:6-8 They travelled through Phrygia and the Galatian country, because they had been told by the Holy Spirit not to preach the word in Asia. When they reached the frontier of Mysia they tried to go into Bithynia, but as the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them, they went through Mysia and came down to Troas.

Why did the Holy Spirit tell them not to preach in Asia?

Why did Jesus stop them going to Bithynia?

Some things we will not know this side of the veil. We can only guess…

My guess would be that the people where they were headed were not ready to hear the Gospel…God knows His timing…
