It is in line with the Dominican conception of preaching. We can preach with words, but preaching is often most successful if you preach by living as exemplary a life as you can muster.benjamin1973:

Oh, I don’t have any particular issue with the quote itself. There’s a reason, after all, why St. Dominic was such good friends with St. Francis!
