Why didn't God save Neanderthals?

the only way that everyone in the world today could be descended from Noah and his sons would be if Noah belonged to the oldest African origin haplogroup, haplogroup A .
Interesting, we do have Neanderthal genes. So how is this so if everyone alive descended from those on the Arc?

The chronology for this does not work. The DNA evidence indicates that the mixing between Homo sapiens sapiens and Homo sapiens neanderthalensis took place after the former left Africa about 60,000 years ago.
As Vico pointed out, The analysis is incomplete and the conclusions are tentative because “the Y-chromosome of Neanderthals or paternal inheritance has yet to be examined.” - Musaddeque Ahmed and Ping Lian, 2013.
Can you cite the specific data that would lend credibility to this speculative hypothesis?

If this was to cleanse evil from the land, it was a very specific attempt in a small area.
That’s very possible, as the fire brought down upon Sodom and Gomorrah was a limited fire intended to punish two cities for their unnatural vice.

I still haven’t seen an answer to the question: Why do you think God didn’t save the Neanderthals?
I believe that the reason for this is that the implied assumptions in this question are not known to be true. Two of the assumptions are:
  1. Neanderthals were human persons, and
  2. If they were human persons, they weren’t saved.
It seems most of the discussion has been about #1, which remains unresolved.

Nope, there were no such assumptions.

Here are the ‘assumption’, actually there is good evidence for this.
Exactly, their descendants were on the arc since their descendants are with us today.

Where on this diagram does it show that the Neanderthal was made in the image and likeness of God?

I still haven’t seen an answer to the question: Why do you think God didn’t save the Neanderthals?
They were not worth saving? They had become a dire threat to humans as they were the closest in intelligence? A little racial cleansing on God’s part?

How on earth are we to know unless God tells us why he didn’t choose to save them?

Many people walking around today are descended from Neanderthal man, IOW, some human beings today are Neanderthal, at least in part.

The question is the subject title, I thought you might want to participate, since yo are on the thread.
Another question to ask is “What makes you think He didn’t save them?” since many are walking around today.

Many people walking around today are descended from Neanderthal man, IOW, some human beings today are Neanderthal, at least in part.
Since they are supposed to have mated with humans, some today are partially Neanderthal.

Doubtful that there are any altogether Neanderthal.

I’m not aware of any documented such. Are you?

I don’t believe I ever said there were 100% unadulterated Neanderthal people.
Again, you keep assuming things I never stated.

So, in other words, the diagram does not show that the Neanderthal were made in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, no one can state with certainty that the Neanderthal were human. If they were not human, we are not their descendants, despite that some scientists hypothesize that we are.

Incorrect, There are Human Beings today who are descendents of the Neanderthal people are made in the Image and Likeness of God.

But, again, you are not addressing the question I asked.

to with: “What makes you think God didn’t save the Neanderthals?”

To answer your question again:
  1. If the Neanderthal were not human, God didn’t save them because they did not need saving
  2. If the Neanderthal were human, the question is invalid in that it assumes, without evidence, that the Neanderthal were not saved.

The OP gave that Neanderthal were human with: “It has been determined neanderthals also had the FOXP2 gene associated with language development and speech.” “and created what we would consider very primitive art”

That they were not saved means that they became extinct: “more special than the now extinct Homo neanderthalensis”.

So, this whole time we were using different meanings of “saved”?
I thought we were talking about saved = being in heaven.

I understood it as about extinction, and it seemed some may not, that is why I quoted the first post.

Just read a thread question about blood type on CAF, does anyone know why we all have different blood types? Didn’t want to start another thread because I’m sure some posters on this thread will know the answer. If we descended from two original humans wouldn’t we have the same blood type as each other? Is it something to do with environment, fighting certain diseases and such, which would alter blood types?

Thanks.

Scientists have identified 23 blood group systems (potentially hundreds of types). “For some blood types, evolution and environmental selective pressures are clearly important for their persistence.”
