I am not wanting to start any type of war whatsoever but am geniunally curioius to the answer to my question.
I was on Youtube and was looking up something else when I came upon a video of a two year old reciting answers of her faith ( Islam).
Now of course I was honestly curious to the answers of the questions being asked because I know very little about Islam but from a few things I’ve read so far.
The thing that struck me as a bit unsettling was when she was asked the question :
Who is struck by Allah’s wrath? and her answer was the jews.
Then the second question was: Who is the misguided?
and she answered Christians.
Is this is what is taught in the Muslim faith?
The second question I could say that we all believe that we are misguided in some fashion that’s why many feel their faith is the better one. So that one wasn’t to hurtful.
But what was hurtful and very dangerous to believe is that God is vengeful and hateful and that he was strike anyone down, including the jews.
So is that the belief of those who practice Islam? Do you really think God is vengeful and hateful? That He would want harm on any of His people? After all God, Allah, made everyone. He made us in his own image. Why would he want to be vengeful on something He created in his own image? Why would God want to hurt anyone?
I guess help me understand that. I can see though why others can misconstrue this and therefore groups like the Taliban and such were started. Out of misunderstanding of that statement alone could be extremely damaging to a faith.
Here is the link to the video I watched:
