Why do Muslims honor Mary,

Hi

The above are all good and pious ladies, so we honour them all, on their merit.

The Jews showed disrespect to Mary for saying that she gave birth to an illegitimate child. Quran/Islam/Muhammad comes forward to defend her as that was not the case.

The title of the thread needs some improvement, I think. Why should not Muslims honour Mary? Is it not welcome? Surely it is welcome and therefore Muslims honor Mary from the core of their hearts. I don’t know why it is not acceptable to you.

Your statement says the mother of Jesus not the Mother of God which I assume you mean.
