What I think don’t matter its what you think.
Why are you so resistant to answer the question? The question that you yourself said you were here to answer for the non Catholic. It seems a bit evasive to me. 🤷

That was my point exactly. It would have been very difficult for people to not know as you claimed in an earlier post.
I believe that I said, we have been told we needed to educate ourselves, Why do you question getting education about your faith?
Why not answer the questions I posed?

I believe I have. 🤷
  1. What I’m trying to get at is to educate the Non-Catholics about the Dogma of Mary and why the Catholics believe that she never had relations with her husband Joseph.
You keep avoiding this one. What education, why is it that we believe as we do about Mary? You posted this, not me. I am simply asking that you answer for your own comments.

Its called education. And that is what I’m doing. Why do you have a hard time with me educating non-Catholics?
Is there something you don’t want us to find out?
Wouldn’t getting educated on the Catholic faith a path to the truth?
Do you not want us to know the truth?
Its been stressed here enough, I thought it was time to look at the truth.

As the Church teaches; The Bible is sufficient for salvation. This is of course because it teaches everything that pertains to our salvation.
Does the Bible say that it is sufficient for salvation? If so, where?

Read the post about it. That will tell you the education that I wanted to get out to them.

How about BELIEVE the Truth!

Talk about paranoid. I am simply asking you why Catholics believe what they do about Mary. It is one thing to educate everyone about WHAT we believe but it an altogether different thing to educate as to WHY we believe as we do. I would like to know what your perception of this is. Why are you so threatened with me asking you to do what you stated you were trying to do?

I have nothing to hide, I have posted my thoughts very clearly. I think the WHY answer is because it is true, don’t you?

My Catechism teacher said to me that the Church stated this, which I believe She might have. Its self evident. All the salvationstory is in the Bible. What is necessary to know about God and about man, and about the saving action of Christ in history is all there.

Why are you having such trouble with this one? Are you attempting to hide your true feelings? I read the post and for the life of me can’t see where you explained WHY Catholics believe as they do. Please do tell.

Absolutely not OK for non married people to be pregnant. Who do you think Mary was married to?

It should go against everything that ALL Christians stand for. DOes it not?
I agree with part of the 2nd and all of the last.
I find nowhere in the Bible that says she was married.

Driving you crazy is it.
Just pointing out the 2nd Dogma of Mary.
Would you like the 1st.

It doesent… In fact, I’ll go as far as to say that the Bible itself is not needed for salvation. The Church is most necessary for salvation, as the Church community can work together with one bible, one reader, and all can find salvation. Not every individual needs to own a bible to get to heaven.

To be part of the CHURCH is necessary for salvation.

Education is putting something out there and letting them make there own mind up about what it means to them.
Now to answer you question as to why you believe what you believe about Mary. Because that is what you were taught. Because you feel strongly about what you were taught as the truth.
As far as my belief in it. I believe you already know.

Hardly driving me crazy. I would like to be enlightened as to WHY I think something. I figure a Baptist can best explain to a Catholic WHY we believe something. 😉

I am guessing from you subsequent post that you did not mean WHY but WHAT? Teaching the dogma itself is very different than teaching the intentions behind it.

You should return to the Church with Jesus Christ as its Head

How about BELIEVE the Truth!
Because you tell me its the truth, you want me to believe it. Well I’m looking into the truth that you believe it to be. Big bold words only drives me farther way.

Reverend,

Teach your studentrs that we believe in the dogmas because the Holy Spirit guided us to believe in them…
