She is saying CATHOLIC all caps so it’s hard to tell, but she means catholic (little c) as in universal. Why do you present yourself as CATHOLIC when you are protestant ?
I think.

Do you pray for your wife, your mother or anyone else? Do you ever ask anyone to pray for you?I don’t understand this Mary interceding for someone. Why do you need her to talk to God for you. Do you think God won’t listen to you? Do you think God won’t hear you? Do you think God will answer your prayer faster? I don’t understand.
Yes but they don’t pray to me to pray for them, nor do I pray to them for them to pray for me.Do you pray for your wife, your mother or anyone else? Do you ever ask anyone to pray for you?

What’s the point of these questions? The Bible tells us that are on this side of the grave to pray for others on this side of the grave. It says nothing, to my knowledge, about asking those on the other side of the grave or even to pray for those who are on the other side of the grave.Do you pray for your wife, your mother or anyone else? Do you ever ask anyone to pray for you?
Dokimas, Please…What does the verse say? BTW, is it individualism to read what the Bible SAYS and not add to it?
I think we should confess to a clergy person if we’ve sinned against the person. I think we should find a clergy person well versed in the Bible and has a life touched deaply by the Holy Spirit to council us through sin and other problems.
What is it that you think Catholics do? How is it any different than asking someone to pray for you?Yes but they don’t pray to me to pray for them, nor do I pray to them for them to pray for me.
I am aware just could remember the question. Of couse I believe in IC and?I asked clearly if you accepted the IC dogma. That would be the Immaculate Conception for all catholics unaware of it.![]()

Dokimas, Please…
I posted last night about individualism… Did you get a chance to read it? I don’t think I saw it. It was about this time period in humanity as a time of “individualism”… That is why I think protestantism caught on so well. **Or was it because the RCC had things to change and refused to change? ** You see, I think Christianity has been swayed by the times, as currently individualism is the economic and social norm of the time. ** Unlike many churches including the leaders of the CC, the apostles of the 1st century were often quite poor and died preaching the Gospel. Now church leaders are protected from assasines. We are far from the early Christians. **
Back in the day, villages, or cities acted more like common groups… The “individual” was not given more importance than the whole group … Is the group more important that the individual?
This explains why Catholics consider themselves one body, one spirit in Christ… We are the Church-united, and we see Mary as our mother whom we ask and call on for help like a real mom.
Do you see what I mean? Does this make any sense?
You are aware that deliberately misrepresenting your faith is grounds for suspension on CAF right?Think can be wrong
I thought IC was about Mary’s birth? The term ‘virgin birth’ is for Jesus. Yes? No?I am aware just could remember the question. Of couse I believe in IC and?
Who will judge if Tweetymom is misrepresenting her faith? Seems very obvious what she calls herself. You are aware that deliberately misrepresenting your faith is grounds for suspension on CAF right?
I thought I saw you before using the word protestant… Strange.
The Immaculate Conception is about Mary. I’m struggling to see acceptance of that dogma and statements made in connection to Mary here.I thought IC was about Mary’s birth? The term ‘virgin birth’ is for Jesus. Yes? No?
I am a Catholic. The other was done by me in anger, It has already been cleared thank you.You are aware that deliberately misrepresenting your faith is grounds for suspension on CAF right?

Why would Mary ask us to pray to her so she can present our prayers to Jesus?Clergy from the Church have had visions of Mary. Saint Juan Diego, the children of Fatima, etc…
Mary shows herself to some Catholics, and asks us to pray to her so that she can present our prayers to Jesus.
Its not that we want to, its that she wants us to. She is our mother, we are one body, one spirit in Christ.
