Why do people think abortion is wrong?

Long ago, when someone vehemently pointed out that abortion is WRONG no matter what, I would have thought the person crazy. I would question people if removing CANCEROUS CELLS is wrong because they are “alive” too.

The fundamental wrong in my concept is, I failed to realised that humans have a soul, unlike other microoganisms. Whereby a soul would be an identity, and a baby not yet born, already has that, and it is very cruel to get rid of it.

There are many instances where the mother is probably just a victim, but to go for abortion is to tell God that, you do not wish to carry the cross and wanted your life the easier way out. We may not often “deserve it”, but I rather place my faith in God, and not to doubt his Will.
 
From the moment of conception a child has all chromosomes intact and features such as eye colour, hair colour etc determined. So abortion doesn’t just removed a part of the woman’s body it removes (that is murders) a distinct individual.

From conception the child soon develops a heartbeat, hands, legs, arms, head, body etc, etc.Even outside of the womb a child continues to develope.

The Didache (sp?) a first century Church document when some of the original Apostles were still alive condemns abortion and Pope John Paul II speaking in union with the worlds Bishops (as part of the ordinary Magisterium) infallibly decreed the Church’s opposition to abortion.

If you can’t kill a premature baby, how come if it was still in the womb you would be able to kill it. For abortion, a woman just doesn’t take a pill and than everything’s okay. Abortion can invovle the baby being torn to shreds, its brains pulled out of its skull of its arms and head snapped off! Why is it that some consder this fine?

From conception to the grave the sanctity of life should be respect without discrimination. Life is precious and no one has the right to take a life away.

Catholics are (well should be anyway) pro life and pro woman! Yes pro woman - the Church campaigns against the mass slaughter of unborn women via abortion! Pro abortionists can’t lay claim to such a record of protecting women.
