I was once one who disagreed with the Catholic stance, however am now happy I can not recieve Communion with Catholics on their terms as I truly belive The Catholic Church has fallen into apostacy;.

i completely respect the catholic view on this issue and do not partake of the eucharist when i am at a mass (even though i believe in the real presence).

that being said, i do not agree with the “closed table” of the catholic (or any other denomination for that matter) church. if it is the body and blood of Christ, who are we to deny it to anyone. paul admonishes each person to take stock of themselves before coming to the table. he does not put that responsibility on a priest, bishop, or even the church. i do understand the desire to “protect the body of Jesus from would be corrupters” but i guess i feel Jesus can take care of Himself and doesn’t need me for protection. i don’t think He would fault me for trying to share Him with others. just my opinion.

i am not arguing, just stating my disagreement. i will always respect the wishes of those i am visiting (after all, i am the guest in those situations and the guest should not impose themselves upon their hosts).
I have to agree with you on this one. I’m in RCIA right now, and even though I strongly believe in the Real Presence, I do not partake of Communion at Mass out of respect, but since I’m a baptized Christian, and I believe in the Real Presence, I honestly don’t think it’s fair at all that I can’t receive the Eucharist. It’s extremely painful for me at times, because I feel left out. The thing that makes this even worse for me, is that I may never be able to receive the Eucharist in a Catholic church, because I’m beginning to realize that some of my beliefs are more Orthodox than Catholic. I agree with most of what the Church teaches, but I cannot accept things like holy days of obligation because they completely and blatantly contradict Romans 14:5-10 and Gal. 4:8-11. Believe me, that was very painful to say, but it had to come out sometime.

Fair enough. Naturally, I would ask why
