Why do so many Catholics accept evolution as fact?

Wake up Catholics… the only people that need Darwin To be right are atheist .

Wake up Catholics! The only people who need Darwin to be wrong are people who erroneously think that Genesis and Evolution are mutually exclusive. This is a false dichotomy that not even our most recent Popes held.

There are some Popes in Hell do you believe everything they said was true ?

St. John Paul II most deinitely isn’t in hell. And he’s one of the ones that said evolution doesn’t contradict the faith.

(And I’d caution against saying some popes are in hell considering we neither know that nor would it be right to condemn a former leader of the church.)

If you run a salt water marine tank, you need Live Rock 🐋🐬
When you buy your first fish the water in the bag will contain the Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter bacteria and will start growing on your filter to start consuming the ammonia that is being excreting by the additional fish that you add to your new tank.

Lol, didnt say John Paul was in hell, I mean Popes can be be wrong on some things.

It’s excellent that a species of bacteria evolved to feed off the waste product of your fish.

What symbiosis God, through his mechanism of evolution, has provided us! 👍

How did it come to be that the Nitrosomonas and the Nitrobacter (they have to work together to neutralize waste ) evolved at the exact same time ?

Such an equilibrium likely took a long time to develop, with bacteria settling into different niches, and further specializing as competition increased and conditions changed. Before the cycle developed, toxic ammonia and later nitrite could have been a ceiling on populations, and the excess was an available resource that eventually some organisms specialized in breaking down. They might not even have evolved in symbiosis to begin with. You could have bacteria develop independently to break down ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates in areas where those were common, and only come into such a cycle (with further adaptations and specialization) later after certain biological life started naturally producing waste with ammonia.

Ammonia is toxic like you say, and yet there are two bacteria just waiting to neutralize it, and all this just happen by chance.🤷

How long do you take to set up the conditions in your salt water marine tank before you add fish? Do you have coral etc in it?
