Why couldn’t parishes allow people to kneel for communion by providing kneelers. I understand the church allows for receiving in the hand, tongue, kneeling and standing. What I have noticed is kneeling isn’t promoted as much as the others.
What’s interesting as catholic majority kneel for adoration, confession and at consecration but don’t kneel for receiving the body and blood of christ. All I’m asking is if there was the ability to kneel most may have the option. As of know there is no option to kneel other than kneeling on the concrete floor and for some that may no be conducive ( elderly. bad knees etc).
thank you,
Gary
