Why do we call priests "Father"?

I had someone confront me today about Catholicism and one of the points she made was that Catholics are erroneous because we call priests “Father” and the Pope “Holy Father”…

She used the Scripture when Jesus said to call no man “Father”.

What is our purpose for doing such? What do I tell the person that stated that we were wrong for doing such?
