When Jesus was teaching us to pray he said not to ramble on like the pagans. Isn’t this what the rosary is doing?

Dear friend,

When we pray the Rosary, we are not rambling on like the pagans. Rambling is unstructured, undirected, incoherent vocalizing. Rambling like pagans is rambling in the context of worshiping false gods.

The ‘Hail Mary’ is all about the incarnation of Jesus Christ. To repeat it is to honor God for visiting us through Mary. The Rosary is highly structured prayer in the context of the story of our salvation. There is simply no comparison!
