which says, âEvery woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.â The early Christian
women veiled their heads not only in church, but also anytime they were in public.
I realized it is an obedience to 1 Corinthians 11:5. What we do as individuals should be for God and for God alone, we should not worry what others would think or feel. You living is for him alone, doing for him alone, you honor him, by trying to fit in and do as others do, than goes without saying, your following the rules of man and not God.
My mother always used this phrase, probably yours did too. âIf you friends all jump of the cliff will you followâ. We must be individuals as he created us, we must follow our hearts and do what we know and feel is righteous, if our neighbor is not than she or he will answer to God, but as individuals we will stand before our maker and answer to him,
Nothing is optional, the words were written to be followed. God gave these commands to our prophets not only as guidelines but to live in righteous, we cannot decide what fits our needs, and take out what we want out of the words in the Holy Book. For all of it applies, God did not say if you want to cover your head, it is optional, he says,
âEvery woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.â
Therefore do what your heart tells you and donât worry about looks and legalistic, not sure what you mean by that. At the end we must all face our creator.
