Why do you think God/Jesus chose to live 2000 years ago vs. recently or even today?

Not exactly. What I meant was that, no matter what time Jesus appeared, we would still be asking the question, “Why THAT time and not this OTHER time?” But in order for God to appear in history at all, He always has to appear at some time or another. Any time He chooses will provoke the same question on our part.
