Why did God Kill those people like Ananias and Sapphira? I am scared of being committing something so wrong that God would kill me for what I have done.

When in doubt err in the side of social justice for the majority and you will be ok 😃 The wages of righteousness are life.

It could have been a heart attack due to fear upon being questioned by Peter, for both of them.

First off they lied to the Apostle and the holy spirit ,sins against the holy spirit are very grievous ,and as Jesus said will not be forgiven in this life and even in the next ,secondly they didn’t fear God,as they should have ,they didn’t trust in the divine providence of god, but rather they where selfish and trusted in their own abilities,in security was on wealth or money, which is an idol of the heart and as Jesus said we cannot serve two masters, it also served as an warning for the Church and the people ,the primacy of St Peters’s authority as the head and the prince of the Apostolic collage.lastly as an example for the whole church and for us.

Wisdom 12:1 For your immortal spirit is in all things.2 Therefore you correct little by little those who trespass, and you remind and warn them of the things through which they sin,so that they may be freed from wickedness and put their trust in you, O Lord.

Fear of God is good for our soul.God Bless

Fear of God is a good thing.
‘On an appointed day Herod put on his royal robes, took his seat upon the throne, and made an oration to them. And the people shouted, “The voice of a god, and not of man!” Immediately an angel of the Lord smote him, because he did not give God the glory; and he was eaten by worms and died.’ - Acts 12:21-23

The wages of sin is death. They died because they chose to lie to the Holy Spirit.

God also allowed this to happen to demonstrate that the authority He appointed in the Church is valid.

Sin is what kills. Don’t make a commitment to something sinful. Pray that God will guide your decisions and deliver you from evil.

Follow what God has revealed to the Church as true, and keep yourself free from sin.

All that being said, any one of us could drop dead any minute from a variety of causes. Live each day as if it were your last on earth, and be in a state in which you are ready to meet your Maker.

God kills everyone he has every right to, he kills all his creatures, we were formed from dust and to it we shall return, whether we become his saints or not, whether we are to be saved or not. We have a lifespan of that not to exceed 120 years.

To my understanding they committed sin against the Holy Spirit which is the only unforgivable sin. Same with Lot’s wife.

Basically, this sin is after the glory of God has been revealed to you, you still fully reject Him and therefore decide to accept sin and this the devil over Jesus. This is unforgivable because the glory of God has already been revealed to you.

You couldn’t just do this, you would have to be dead and at the judgement or have an apparition

God killed them becuase He is the author of life, and can do with it as he pleases.

The one that always bothered both me and my late mother was someone tried to stop the Ark of the Covenant from falling and were struck dead for touching it. Uzzah - Wikipedia When I started RCIA I was told that there are many allegories in the Old Testament and this is people’s attempt to describe the holiness of God not that there was a literal man who this happened to. That helped a lot

It wouldn’t surprise me if it were true. Who knows what mysterious power lay within the ark.

If, and it’s a big if, God killed anyone it would be the death of their body not necessarily their souls. There is a big difference between annihilation and death of the body.

The attribute of value about a human isn’t the ephemeral organic body but the soul it temporarily houses as I understand it. God is mostly concerned with our souls.
