No. You would offer them the comfort of your home and love. But what could you do to stop your child from exercising his free will to refuse your gifts and insist on living his own way, despite the obvious misery it brings him? God could have made us all robots without free will, and we would never think to disobey or dishonor Him, but that isn’t what He wanted for us. He wanted us to choose Him.What I wouldn’t do is cut off any chance of rehabilitation and sustain the child’s existence just so he could be physically tormented for eternity.
