Ha ha. No. The consistency of the matter lends itself to being shaped by the lower intestine that is in some parts flexible and some parts taut. This coupled with the posture during the ‘poo doing’ that forms the shape.

Their alimentary canal is like ours (mouth on one end anus on the other), but during development their body undergoes torsion by which the distal end loops around and ends up above the proximal end (for the sake of space within a shell).
