Why does my life suck so much?

17 year old and my life is just awful. I do the same thing everyday, school is no fun, barely have any friends, I’m pretty anti-social (can’t help it), and I have no life. I pray every night and thank Jesus for everything, but it seems I get no satisfaction out of life. I would never ever commit suicide btw. I’m not the best Catholic either, only bad things I really do is masturbate and use profanity. Is it EVER gonna get better?

I recommend a book called Arise From Darkness by Father Benedict Groeschel.
 
Have you considered getting a part time job or better yet volunteering for an organization that interests you? Helping others is a great way to help yourself. Either is an opportunty for new experiences and to meet new people.

Life is just like that sometimes. I am a father of 4 and i work 5 sometimes 7 days a week, and it seems as though my life is in a puddle of mud moving no where. Then i got myself into the church and doing things there with my family to change things up and now i have found a whole new outlook on life and am no longer in the mud. So I guess what I am saying is it will get better, you just have to look for something to change it up a bit.👍

Yes it will get better, but only if you make it.

What do you like to do?

Take advantage of the time you have now to learn about new things, or practice the things you like.

You say you are anti-social, but do you not like other people, or is it just difficult to talk with them? Either way, you can try and work on this, as friends and people do make life better (most of the time).

Continue to pray and look for opportunities to do good. Things will work out.
 
Life is neither good nor bad. (To use your words - Life isn’t fun nor does it suck)
Life just is.

What you choose to do with the circumstances that life presents to you at each moment can make your life either wondrous or tedious.
There are a vast array of choices at each step of your journey,

It’s all up to you.
Start choosing wisely.
