**Those who are lukewarm are those who profess faith in Christ as members of his Church, yet don’t follow through. Christ’s message is lost on them because their will - whether it be due to pride, insolence or even sloth - is superior to God’s will.Elvis, I can not judge who Christ will spit out.
But I do wonder what lukewarm means.
For example perhaps to express our faith in Christ with love and not be lukewarm we should be peacemakers. Blessed are the peacemakers He taught in Matt 5 from the Mount.
Or if we can, strive to serve the poor, the homeless, the sick, the naked, and the prisoner? In Matt 25 He taught these as other examples of righteous faith so when we say Lord, Lord, He will know us.
Love one another. The Golden Rule. Do not judge. These are all things of Christ.
Peace be with you.
This is what happened with the Reformation and, unfortunately has happened to some who profess the Catholic faith on this forum yet have no real understanding of Christ’s Church.
