Why does Satan always win?

No matter what happens or what I do Satan wins. I try so hard sometimes and he ends up winning which means I lose. He has the ability to make me go from very happy to sad and angry in an instant. He is ruining everything, there is no respite from him. He keeps turning my world upside down. I’ve had enough of it.

I take your meaning that there is constant temptation. God allows that, but also gives the grace necessary to overcome it, with your cooperation. One can still fail against their will, in which case it is involuntary and not a mortal sin. We must be humble enough to say: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner.

The evil one is powerless against the faithful. You just need to dedicate yourself more to the truth and the way of God and you will have inner peace.

That’s not Satan. That’s you not controlling your emotions. You’re letting them control you.

Satan certainly works to cause evil, but that’s not him.

Satan only has the power that you give him.
He has the ability to make me go from very happy to sad and angry in an instant.
You control your emotions, only you. Satan has no control over your emotions. Do not give Satan credit for things that he cannot do.
there is no respite from him
The Sacrament of Baptism renounced Satan. Every time you renew your Baptismal promises you do the same. The Sacraments are far more powerful than you give them credit for. Do you really think Satan is stronger than Christ’s Sacraments?

Resolve to go to Confession, receive the Eucharist and to stay in Christ.

Scripture is important. Read James, chapter 4 and underline, memorize verse 7 "So submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"

Read Ephesians, chapter 6 and focus on vs 10 - 20. Do what it says. Put on the whole armor of God.

Go on the offensive. Become extremely holy. He hates that.

It’s impossible to remain happy when I set foot inside work and a member of staff gloats that he contacted management to get me into trouble. Why do I deserve that! If I made a mistake fine but I dixn’t and he twisted it. Why can’t I just have one day free from it all?

I’m sorry you’re having such a rough time. I went through quite a dark time at work awhile ago and asked myself similar questions. It is not because you deserve it.
Our lives are all messy and being Christian does not mean we will not experience pain and unhappiness. Think about how much Jesus suffered. But in the end He rose from the dead. It’s Easter- we know that Satan didn’t win! God has already won! We’ll experience a lot of suffering in this life, whether or not we believe. But God can give us the strength to go through it, and reminds us that one day when He will “wipe every tear and death will be no more”.

Satan’s real purpose is to be the accuser (that’s what Satan literally means). He will tempt, in order to point and accuse… but we are the culprits. I believe Satan’s real sin is hating humans to begin with, therefore he wouldn’t rejoice in God’s creation, and was kicked out of heaven. Now he drags us down as much as he can, just to prove he was right. My theory anyways, but it’s a common one. With Christ’s help, we can prove him wrong.

What does that have to do with Satan? Maybe your coworker is just a jerk.

It actually sounds like the co-worker has a bit of Satan’s adversarial nature himself! I didn’t read it at first. Just the first post.

I think you know the answer …You said " Why can’t I just have one day, free from it all.? That sounds great… Why don’t you just do that, give yourself a day off from all the hasell.Take a walk through the park, take a ride to the shore , if it’s close, any area where there is open space for you to see how beautiful it all is…I will pray for you. God Bless you.

You can assert yourself politely. It might help to get things off your chest, without brooding in private later and getting even more angry.

That won’t work, the management love him. He would say I was being facetious and tge management would tear my limbs off.

I was looking forward to divine mercy sunday tomorrow, ive been praying the novena, I got to confession this morning and now its all ruined.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’ll say a prayer for you. I hope you find a solution, because it doesn’t healthy at all, the way it is.

I guess I’m just confused as to why you’re assuming all of these things have a spiritual cause.

Sometimes a bird poops on your freshly washed car not because Satan sent the bird on a mission but because, well, birds poop. Sometimes bad or annoying things just happen. That’s just life.

In any case, you sound a little stressed out and overwhelmed. Everyone has a bad day from time to time but if this is a regular thing for you, in addition to prayer, I would strongly consider maybe some therapy .

I suppose Satan thought he won - when Jesus died on the cross.
What a shocking surprise - that even Satan himself - never thought !

All things work together - for good - to those who believe 😇

In the end, Mary will crush the head of the serpent. Evil will disappear forever.
Honestly from this post, I think you should talk to a priest or someone professional.
