Jesus died and destroyed evil power. Why does he still roam like a lion seeking whom to devour? Why didn’t God anhilate him completely at one and forever when Jesus died?
A war can be over and done but some soldiers refuse to give up. The army has been defeated but they continue to kill random people and cause problems. We saw this in WW2 and almost every war in human history, its also a good analogy for what the devil is doing. The devil knows that he has lost and is simply trying to drag down as many souls into his defeat as he can.
